STORE HISTORY

Bicycles Outback was started by Keith Powell in 1987 in a small building behind his house in the 2200 block of Washington Ave. Hence, the name Bicycles Outback. He carried several brands including Specialized, Trek and Bridgestone. In 1990, he moved the store to a new location in the Towne Oaks Shopping Center in the 4700 block of West Waco Dr. In 1995, the store was purchased by the present owner, Larry Lenamon.
